We are looking for an efficient Payroll Administrator to join our clients team who will be responsible for all aspects of managing employee salary data, ensuring timesheets are accurate and payments are made on time. Payroll Administrator responsibilities include managing all aspects of payroll, and they must accomplish required tasks promptly. Responsibilities
- Administer monthly payroll for all employees to a tight deadline
- Prepare reports for weekly, quarterly and yearly reviews
- Review driver hours daily in accordance with UK and EU driving laws Review agency hours daily and confirm with agencies Monitor and record data for Company bonus schemes
- Ensure payroll taxes and pensions are calculated accurately
- Ensure all attachment of earnings are processed accurately
- Ensure all sick pay is calculated and treated in line with guidance
- Review and abide by company policies and procedures
- Make sure account balances are correct
- Resolve payroll errors and queries
- Once all payroll activities are complete ad-hoc administrative duties
Our ideal candidate
- Proven work experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to take ownership and a "get the job done" attitude
