CAD Design Engineer - The Role

• Use CAD and 3D modelling to create drawings/designs
• Produce bill of materials and analyse costs
• Design and develop products
• Review and improve products regularly
• Some project management: discussing customers' needs, attending sites to discuss and measure the project/ area
• Receive appropriate training as required
• Ad-hoc duties required by the department

CAD Design Engineer - The Person
Our client is looking for someone who has a positive attitude to work, is quick-thinking, able to take initiative, and can communicate effectively. You will also have the following skills/experience:

• Experience in an engineering or fabrication role
• An engineering qualification would be an advantage
• Experience with CAD and 3D modelling, such as AutoCad or SolidWorks.
